How BuildDay handles your data.

Privacy Policy

BuildDay only asks for the information needed to run the planner. When you create an account or sign in, BuildDay may store your email address, nickname, tasks, categories, calendar blocks, focus goals, focus sessions, weekly insights, settings, and anything else you choose to type into the app.

BuildDay does not require sensitive personal information to work. Do not enter private, medical, financial, legal, password, or other sensitive information into tasks, notes, categories, or calendar blocks.

Your signed-in BuildDay data is stored in Firebase so it can sync across your devices. Guest mode is temporary and is meant for trying the app before saving data to an account.

You can export your BuildDay data, clear your BuildDay workspace, or delete your account from Account & Data. Deleting an account removes the BuildDay data tied to that account.

Terms of Use

BuildDay is a productivity and planning tool. It can suggest realistic plans based on the tasks, estimates, calendar blocks, and settings you provide, but it cannot guarantee that any plan will be completed or that every suggestion will fit your real life.

You are responsible for your own schedule, priorities, account activity, and the information you enter. Use your judgment before relying on any plan, reminder, estimate, or weekly insight.

Use BuildDay lawfully and respectfully. Do not use the app to store harmful content, violate someone else's rights, or attempt to access another user's account or data.

BuildDay may change over time as features are improved. If you no longer want to use it, export your data first, then clear your workspace or delete your account.
